The idea for LOUIE came out of a group of eight members participating in Leadership Louisville’s 2015 Bingham Fellows. How can our cities better collaborate with each other to become true partners with state government?
Subsequently, Café LOUIE was born: Louisvillians: Organized, United, Informed & Engaged.
Café LOUIE exists to facilitate legislator collaboration among Louisville’s 28-member delegation and to provide opportunities for voters to engage with them. From January to April, every year, the Friends host a series of community events at Louisville's branch libraries for you and your representatives.
