The NEWburg Library is NOW OPEN! The 8000 square foot space incorporates the features residents asked for.  With two middle schools and three elementary schools in the area, the big focus is on study space, books and computers to help children and teens succeed in school. It is outfitted with the latest technology for computer, internet access and media production. The children’s area is large enough to accommodate plenty of books and kids and grandparents reading to kids. A teen area, study tables, a glass-enclosed study room, and space for tutors ensures that kids are encouraged to do their homework. There is a comfortable corner for adults to sit quietly and read, too, away from the 32 public computers. One wall of “The Studio” or multi-purpose room can open up to accommodate larger groups and big programs. The floor plan is open and there are windows everywhere for natural light.
